Yugioh Card Summoner

CH.532 Hidden Arsenal 4 and Considering next Installs

CH.532 Hidden Arsenal 4 and Considering next Installs

As I said, I’d do it next time. And this is next time, so let’s get to it.

Ten packs of . Hopefully I can get Trishula. The link seems to not work, but I'm not sure why. I think the website is being updated or something, as no link I can find is working.

Spoiler

The Fabled Kokkator is fine. Not something I’ll likely use, because I have better ways of earning Pack tokens, but it isn’t bad.

Neo Flamvell Garuda is way too specific, but I might give out some copies of it. I don’t usually give out powerful monsters, but if more Card Summoner skill orbs are going to be on the open market, cards like Neo Flamvell Garuda are going to be good for nobles I trust.

Genex Ally Bellflame is an entire minigame of a monster. And since it gains attack, I kind of like it. The burn on destruction is also nice.

Secret Guards of the Ice Barrier is great. Targeting protection is always good.

And Genex Ally Triforce has three effects, depending on the monster used as material. In the TCG, Light is the best. For me, Earth is probably the best. Fire is also okay, but not as good as Earth.

Next pack.

Spoiler

Jurrac Herra is a pain … to fight against. It just keeps coming back. Which means it is great for me.

Dragunity Militum is fine. It does Dragunity stuff, and it does it decently well.

Dragunity Partisan is a good combo with Militum. Summon Partisan, special Militum, equip Partisan to Militum, Militum special summons Partisan. Then use the two for a Synchro.

Genex Ally Birdman is one of the more famous Genex monsters. It specials itself by returning a different monster to hand. It even got limited at some point, because of some FTK.

And Naturia Landoise has a monster effect negate that also destroys the monster. For the cost of discarding a Spell card. Nice.

Next pack.

Spoiler

Dragunity Pilum is like Partisan, a good Dragunity Tuner.

Naturia Ladybug brings itself back each time you Synchro a Naturia monster. And it doesn’t even banish itself when it leaves the field. Nice. The 1000 attack boost is pretty insignificant.

Warlock of the Ice Barrier is just an Anti-Spell Fragrance with legs. It isn’t better, but it isn’t worse either.

And Naturia White Oak is a bit too specific to actually be good. You basically have to force your opponent into activating its effect.

Next pack.

Spoiler

Genex Ally Solid makes Pack tokens, which is still nice. Other than that it is meh.

The Fabled Nozoochee is fine, but perhaps a bit costly.

Naturia Ragweed is too specific, and you have to tribute it. If the drawing was free, it would be great, but as it stands, not that good.

And Jurrac Meteor is just a field nuke that summons a Tuner after it is done. Which is great, but I have other cards for that, and I don’t really drop nukes.

Next pack.

Spoiler

Genex Ally Remote is just a meh replacement for a Genex Controller.

Genex Ally Chemistrer can help with summoning some Genex Synchros.

And Genex Ally Powercell gives all of the monsters that share an attribute with it a 500 attack boost. Which isn’t a lot, but all attack boosts count.

Next pack.

Spoiler

Dragunity Javelin is decent. It just sticks around, if there is a Winged-Beast Dragunity for it to equip itself to.

Genex Ally Crusher is too specific.

Naturia Strawberry is what I’m going to eat after these packs. Other than food, it isn’t that special. No one summons monsters, and even if they do, the monsters in this world don’t have levels. They work on a rank system.

And Dragunity Knight - Trident can banish stuff from my opponent’s extra deck. … which they don’t have. So unless Trident can sever summoning contracts, it isn’t that good. And if it can break contracts … then it is potentially crazy powerful.

Next pack.

Spoiler

Jurrac Aeolo just tributes itself to act as a Monster Reborn for Jurrac monsters. … but only low level ones.

Neo Flamvell Shaman is wayyy too specific. It has like 7 conditions. And the effect isn’t even that good.

Dragunity Brandistock is nice. … or it would be if it could easily equip itself like the other Dragunity Tuners. But since it needs another effect to equip it, it isn’t as good as it could be.

Of course Dragunity Primus Pilus is one of the cards that can equip Brandistock easily.

Spoiler

Strategist of the Ice Barrier is an okay draw card.

The Fabled Peggulsus is good, as is The Fabled Cerburrel.

Next pack.

Spoiler

Defender of the Ice Barrier is a fake defender. The true Defender of the Ice Barrier is Blizzed. But the fox isn’t bad either, despite stealing the name and title.

And Dragunity Knight - Barcha is amazing. It just takes all the Dragon-type Dragunities from the GY and equips them to itself. And gains attack based on how many it equipped. And gains all of their effects, like Brandistock’s double attacking and Pilum’s direct attacking. Just a great monster all around.

Last pack.

Spoiler

Neo Flamvell Hedgehog is fine enough. Sure it doesn’t do much, but it doesn’t have to do much more than what it does.

Jurrac Dino is a bit slow and expensive for a draw 2, but at least you can choose it you want to activate the effect.

Dragunity Corsesca is another great Dragunity Tuner. Sure it also lacks the effect to equip itself to a monster, but when it is equipped, it gives that monster a really nice effect.

But that is it for now. Dragunities are cool. New Naturias are cool. And I want strawberries, so I’m off to the kitchen to prepare some chocolate covered strawberries.

Oh. In case you were wondering, I can get chocolate from either making it with HomeBase or from the Crystal Empire. Lawrence goes there quite often because they have spices and other ingredients that you can get there cheap. Sadly the Empire doesn’t use the same ‘Heroic’ currency as the Kingdoms, so my unlimited money cheat doesn’t work there, but luckily we have quite a lot of random stuff Lawrence can sell for good money.

And yes, people enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries. Sadly we haven’t figured out how to make good white chocolate yet, because I really love double layered strawberries, ones that have both a milk and white chocolate layer, but yeah. The white chocolate we’ve made doesn’t taste right, so we need more time to refine the recipe.

But if we can’t figure it out, we can always wait until I get access to the Dark Side of Dimensions movie pack. Because it has the Magician Girls, and one of them is Chocolate Magician Girl. If she doesn’t know how to make chocolate, I don’t know who does. Maybe that one Madolche monster?

The rest of the day I spent going over potential installs, for both myself and the others.

Starting off with me, I had a few good options.

Starting with Leeching the Light.

Spoiler

Now, it might not look like much, but it actually synergizes with Restraining Sword Barrage, making the skill ‘Draining Sword Barrage’. It does the same as Restraining Sword Barrage, but also drains the stat points of whatever the swords hit and gives them to me temporarily.

But it isn’t the one I’m most interested in. That belongs to the different Chain cards I could use to super boost my Dark Chain.

The first one is the most basic, but possibly the best. Fiendish Chain. It combines with Dark Chain to make Skill-Sealing Chain. You can probably guess what that skill does.

Spoiler

Chain Strike and Chain Detonation were both also options, if I wanted something more destructive. But honestly speaking, I really don’t want that. Dark Chain is a binding skill and I want to keep it being that.

Spoiler

The last option is Chain Healing. Yeah, I could heal with my chains.

Spoiler

It is a good option, but let’s be honest here, Fiendish Chain is the best for what I want to achieve with the skill.

Sadly, installing Fiendish Chain turns my extra skill into a unique skill, and unique skills cannot be leveled up with Level Up!, so I’ll have to hold onto Dark Chain for a bit longer while I turbo level it to like … level 20 or something. I guess I could go all the way to LV.30 now, so maybe I will.

Alice has a few choices as well. Starting off with every Mirror Force variant and Magic Cylinder.

Spoiler

With the skills she gets from them, she can turn any magic back onto its caster. I did also consider some of the ‘negate that spell/trap’ cards, but Alice can already ‘negate’ spells by erasing them with Erasure Magic, so I think reversing the spells is more useful for her.

The second option is Physical Double. Now that Alice has Soul Magic, she could use Physical Double to make a body double and have her Mana half take over that double. So there could be two of her.

Spoiler

For Lua, I didn’t have that many great ideas, but I did consider both Energy-Absorbing Monolith and Rainbow Life.

Spoiler

Both give her a skill that turns incoming damage into HP, which is pretty dang good.

Ria has some interesting choices, but I think the best two are Silver Wing and Assault Armor. I actually considered Assault Armor to be the best, but now that she has evolved into a Draconic race, she can take the Silver Wing install.

Spoiler

And with a skill that can fully heal her, twice, I think Ria would be an absolute unit.

Assault Armor is also just generally good for someone who fights like her, so it was an easy option to give.

For Cailie, there is a clear choice. Calming Magic.

Spoiler

Her songs can already calm people, so boosting that would be a big help for crowd control.

Janina may or may not want Metalmorph. Which I don’t think I need to tell you would make her even more powerful.

Spoiler

And last, Wilma. She wanted a skill that would help her towards her goal of making living weapons act as overlay units for her, so I was considering things like Overlay Network, Xyz Unit and Xyz Override for her.

Spoiler

Sadly, none of the cards could be installed into her, the installs just fail. Probably because she isn’t an Xyz monster or something. I’ll need to research some custom cards I can offer her.
