Chapter 1647 A Special Type Of Crazy

Chapter 1647  A Special Type Of Crazy

The Aurora Continent was buzzing once again with the return of the top experts. Other than Grey and his friends, only a few people didn't know that the God's tomb wasn't truly a God's tomb. So with the people who entered the God's tomb coming out with such a large number missing, they genuinely felt someone finally got the inheritance of a God Plane Elementalist and in the end, would grow on to become a God. Grey and his friends were still focused on improving their strengths. The war would begin soon, and those with weaker cultivation will only turn out to become cannon fodders in this war. Neither Grey, nor any of his friends wanted to be grouped in that manner, so they naturally wanted to grow quickly. Adding the treasure they got from the Gnome world, they were growing pretty fast. On Grey's end.

He has shot to the Fourth stage of the Sovereign Plane. One has to know that just two to three months ago, he was only in the First stage of the Sovereign Plane, yet in the space of only two months, he has gone from the First stage to the Fourth stage. The Faction Leader of the Pyrmond Faction returned, and on finding out from the Elder that Grey was back and cultivating in seclusion, he heaved a sigh of relief. He knew of Grey's plan to sneak into the Gnome World. To be honest, he was quite curious about how the trip went, but since Grey was cultivating, he didn't want to disturb him. At the moment, he is someone in the Late stages of the Sovereign Plane, and the kid he protected some time ago is about to catch up to him in terms of cultivation strength. Grey's speed is unbelievable, not just him, but his friends as well as a few of the younger generations in this era are advancing at a frightening speed, shocking the older generations. It's as if all of them were stimulated by something. The top experts feel it's the pressure of the looming war, and to a certain extent, they were right. Grey and his friends were improving rapidly because they wanted to have a role to play in the war, and they were not the only ones from the younger generation who had this conviction, most of the top geniuses across the continent all had the same conviction, they wouldn't go down quietly. Another week went by before Grey stepped out of his seclusion. ….

The Faction Leader's cave. "You're about to enter the Fifth stage?" The Faction Leader was left beyond words. Grey was about to become a Fifth stage Sovereign within the space of two months. Growing four stages while in the Arcane, Origin, and Overlord Plane is somewhat understandable, but a Sovereign advancing this quickly is unheard of, even while Grey was in the Venerable Plane, the Faction Leader didn't recall him progressing this quickly. "I was lucky." Grey scratched the back of his head awkwardly with a chuckle, he then asked, "How did things go in the God's tomb?" n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Better than expected. Your father had to face a lot of trouble. If we knew you were out sooner, we would've left that place a long time ago." The Faction Leader sighed at the thought of them overstaying in the God's tomb. He almost died on a couple of occasions, although he wasn't afraid of dying in battle, after getting to the level he is at the moment, if given the choice, he'd rather not die. He didn't hide what happened in the God's tomb and told Grey about everything that happened inside. Grey was shocked at his father's ruthlessness. Lucas killed someone from a prominent Faction after realizing he was a Necromancer. This was someone at the Peak of the Sovereign Plane, yet according to the Faction Leader, Lucas killed her within the blink of an eye. 'Father is just as overbearing as mother.' Grey thought internally. He knew that his father wasn't one that cared much about what others thought of him, but the fact that he would kill someone that's supposed to be an ally, well, since the person was suspected of being a Necromancer, their death was deserved. However, this was all due to only Lucas being the one that noticed this, so they could easily say he was using his strength to bully the weak. The Faction Leader saw Grey's unchanged expression and couldn't help but shake his head, to a certain extent, both Grey and his father had the same nonchalant expression always on their faces.

"How about you, how was your trip to the Gnome World?" He didn't bother with the father and son and went on to ask about the important matter. Grey said he wanted to cause chaos in the Gnome World, that way, the Gnomes would give them more time since they have to deal with whoever attacked them. Either that, or they would retaliate almost instantly. "The Capital City, including the Palace has been destroyed, most of the Princes vying for the position of the Emperor are dead as well. The ones left aren't any trouble." Grey didn't go in depth with his words, but his statement was enough to send tremors down the body of the Faction Leader. The Faction Leader looked at Grey in shock, he couldn't believe four youths entered the Gnome World and turned it upside down. The courage it takes to even attempt something like that is out of this world. In fact, to him it wasn't courage, it was an act of brazen craziness that only a selected few geniuses can possess. In most cases, geniuses like these die from overreaching, but in the few cases where they grow to fulfill their potentials, they're frightening figures. Lucas Dawson could be said to be one of these crazy geniuses, and now his son has proven to be even crazier than the father. The audacity to not only have the thought but execute it left the Faction Leader speechless.
