Chapter 225: Meeting Her Once Again
[: Daniel POV :]
"One of them is a Blessing Ticket and the other is a Bloodline Ticket" I answered.
"Blessing Ticket and Bloodline Ticket?" Mom raised her eyebrow, and her hands were trembling as she held the tickets.
"Aren't these precious?" She questioned.
"They are" I answered.
"And you're giving them to me?" She gazed at me.
"The Books you gave to me are already enough for me, and I can't take these tickets"
She tried giving back the tickets to me.
However, I didn't accept them.
After all, in the first place, the tickets I obtained were for her and Cecilia.
"Don't worry about it and as I said earlier on, I have already obtained more than enough"
I took the tickets and gave them back to her once again.
Knowing that I couldn't be convinced and how stubborn I was, she let out a defeated sigh.
"Fine if you say so..." Eventually, she accepted the tickets and kept them in her inventory.
"Now, what are these?" She questioned as she held the 9 Unique Class Selection Tickets.
"Well, they are known as Class Tickets, however, these tickets are different" I explained.
"In what way?" My mom questioned knowing that the tickets she was holding were impossible to obtain.
"They can be used to obtain Classes that can't be obtained easily" I explained thoroughly.
"There are some classes that can't be obtained no matter what, hence, these tickets exist to shatter that rule" I added.
"I see, and even if I gave it back to you, you wouldn't accept it anyway" She sighed as she kept the tickets.
It seems that she finally understood that all these treasures were for her.
Eventually, she gazed at the 5 Ultimate Skill Book and she gazed at me as though asking me to explain what it was.
"These can be used to obtain skills that define your existence," I said.
"It's entirely different from skills, and would evolve as you grow, and it has no categories for ranks" I explained.
"So in the end, it's a book that grants me extraordinary powers right?" She questioned.
"That's right" I nodded my head.
"Sighed, just what kind of adventures did you go on for a whole day, only to return with all of these otherworldly rewards?"
Without a doubt, she was definitely shaken by the amount of treasures I had received.
"A different kind," I said.
"Even though there's nothing that I can't do to equally return with the rewards that you gave, there are certain things that I can do" She teased.
She walked closer towards me and kissed me on the lips for a few seconds before separating herself from me.
"But honey, that will be for a different time," She said with regret.
"Don't worry Mom, I will be waiting for that day" I declared with a smirk.
"You won't be disappointed son" She locked her lips seductively.
Afterwards, there was a ring on her phone and her expression immediately changed.
"It's a bit regretful, but it seems that I'll have to go soon dear" She said with a hint of sadness.
Eventually, she left the house and now, I was alone with all of the time to myself.
Alright, now that I had already settled the things that I wanted to settle, it's time to meet 'her'.
When the Apocalypse had turned the world upside down, there were people I had met.
Some became sworn brothers to me, and there are those that I cherish as a family.
There are even those who had helped me to the point I had fallen in love despite not knowing what it was.
To this day, the regrets haunt me, but now, it was time to undo one of them, and 'she' was one of them.
Without wasting any more time, I made my way to the area that 'she' resides in.
With the abilities that I had, it wouldn't be difficult to find her.
And there she was, I had finally found her.
I was standing on top of a house and hiding my entire existence with stealth.
Not far away from me, there was a poorly constructed house that with just a touch could break down.
But despite the appearance of the house, there was a family inside.
They were a family that was full of positives.
A minute later, a girl came out of the house with a smile plastered on her face.
She has brown long hair with black eyes.
She was an average normal-looking girl who could be found anywhere.
However, what makes her stand out from the rest is the fact that she has never abandoned me.
She did something in the alternate future that I would never forget.
But in the end, I was the one who had killed her.
That's right.
One of my deepest regrets is that I killed someone I had loved.
I had killed someone who had never abandoned me.
That regret of mine haunts me to this day, and it kills me inside.
When I discovered that I was the one who had killed her, I had never felt such despair weighing down on me.
It tore me inside and I remembered almost killing myself because I couldn't bear to handle the guilt.
But this time, it would be different.
As I recall, her name was Sasha.
She wasn't born poor, but she led a difficult life.
She was constantly bullied due to her lack of confidence.
But I find that untrue.
Because she was one of the most bravest women I had ever known to live.
I remember her telling me that she always needed to work due to a sickness that her father had.
Even now, she was still working.
At this moment point, potions had yet to be distributed to the public.
Hence, obtaining a potion that could cure diseases wouldn't be easily obtained, at least not now.
Even so, despite knowing that the majority of the people her age had gotten used to the world of Modern Fantasia, Sasha here had yet to get accustomed to it.
The people around her had earned money simply by hunting monsters, yet, Sasha was still working part-time to earn money.
In a year later, most jobs in the world would be overruled by the powers of Skills.
Jobs like construction could be easily done by mages.
Nurses and Doctors would be overruled by Healers.
The point is, that most of the jobs would soon become useless, and for those that refused to adapt to modern Fantasia would fall behind and suffer.
However, because of her lack of confidence and cowardice, Sasha wasn't able to push forward.
She was still stuck in Level 10 while all of her peers were at least above Level 50, and some even reached 100.
She couldn't brave herself to earn money for her dad's sickness, hence, she still continued working for her job.
Having her own bicycle, she works as a food delivery near a shop.
As usual, she was now making her way towards her job place.
[: 3rd POV :]
'I'm going to be late again!' Sasha thought as she took her bicycle and took off towards her destination.
She was sweating profusely and she was panicking, afraid that she wouldn't make it in time.
She had been late a couple of times, and this time, she was afraid that she would get fired.
'I can't be fired this time...or else, I don't have any job to find money!' She exclaimed in her thoughts.
Eventually, she had finally arrived at her destination while Daniel followed from behind.
The reason why he was following her on this particular day was how Sasha had once told him that today was a pivotal moment for her.
But, it wasn't a good one.
It was a moment that changed her life entirely for the worse.
Moreover, it wasn't because of her job.
In fact, she managed to keep her job.
But there was something else that happened along the way.
'Ah...I think the boss is going to kill me...' Sasha thought fearfully as she entered the pizza shop.
"Sasha? Where have you been? You're an hour late!"
All of a sudden, a fat man exclaimed the moment he saw Sasha entering his shop.
"I...Uh..." Frightened by the man's voice, Sasha was startled and she began trembling.
She couldn't withstand the look the man was giving her.
She was frightened by it, moreover, his voice scared her.
Hence, she couldn't help but stand there trembling and there were even tears forming in her eyes.
The fat man who didn't purposely want to scare Sasha was startled by her reaction.
In fact, in the beginning, he wasn't a fierce nor was he the type that advantage of his employees.
It's just that Sasha had been making too many mistakes that he can't help but scold her little.
Having said that, he thought that he might do too much since Sasha was on the verge of crying.
