Destroying My Own World

Chapter 155 Blood of the Gods.

Jeanne was being choked by Mykel's clone, and she could no longer win against him after she killed him hundreds of times. She used all her strength to free herself from his grasp and immediately flew away to avoid him and think of a way to defeat him for good.

She looked at both of her swords, and her Empyrean Steel sword had broken into pieces and it couldn't be used anymore. She dropped it and focused on just using one sword, but her Blood Sword was already in bad shape because of how sturdy Mykel's clone was. The more she fought, the less she dominated the fight, and all her skills and movements were read like an open book.

It was impossible for her to win, and she started to see the end of her training. She believed that it was already over for her, but she didn't give up before she breathed her last breath.

Jeanne activated her [Maestro] skill and boosted all her skills, and then used all the [Kenesis] skills that belonged to the Celestial Beings. She fought and didn't care about what happened and only focused on killing Mykel's clone that was in front of her.

*Crack!*

Jeanne looked at her sword and saw a big crack in the middle of the blade. She was dumbfounded and realized that the clone had become more powerful than the real Mykel. When she was dumbfounded by the sword cracking, she felt a sting on her right cheek and the sting turned into pain. She was punched in the face and was sent to the ground and she couldn't move her body anymore.

She saw Mykel appear right above her, and she accepted her fate by closing her eyes. She didn't know what had happened to her, but when she opened her eyes, Amaryllis was sitting next to her with Mykel's clone standing still like a statue.

"Welcome back. It appears you're the first one to die," Amaryllis said as she looked at the broken sword in Jeanne's hand. "Also, I never thought that the Homunculus could be this strong. I'm shocked as you are," Amaryllis added as she looked at the clone.

"Amy, what did you just create? Aren't you afraid that this will bite you back in the hand?" Jeanne asked and looked at Amaryllis with a worried expression as she stood up. "You have created a monster in the shape of Mykel, and I don't like that," Jeanne said with a serious expression.

"Is that so? How about you then?" Amaryllis asked.

Jeanne looked at the Homunculus transformed itself and became like her identically. She got a chill down her spine when she saw herself, and it made her uncomfortable when she could use her voice.

"I hate that thing even more..." Jeanne said as she stared at the Homunculus.

"Well, you're the first one to die from the Homunculus, and you're the first one to reach this stage. You have killed it a hundred and twenty-three times, and the current Homunculus is strong enough to hunt Cosmical beings thanks to you," Amaryllis pointed out as she looked at the Homunculus transformed back into Mykel.

"Just Cosmical beings? That thing is terrifyingly as strong as Mykel," Jeanne said as she looked at Amaryllis with her eyebrows furrowed. Explore stories on empire

"This? No, Mykel can kill this thing easily. Mykel's current power is already passed this," Amaryllis replied as she sent the Homunculus away. "Now, did you manage to gain something from this training?" Amaryllis asked as she cleaned up the mess and repaired the whole arena.

"You're asking about my power? No, nothing changed," Jeanne shook her head.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"What a wishful thought of me," Amaryllis hummed as she tapped her chin. "Well, the training isn't over yet. You will have to fight a new one," Amaryllis said and summoned a different Mykel. "Good luck!" Amaryllis smiled and then disappeared.

"Are you being serious? Without my weapon as well?" Jeanne talked to herself as she clenched her fists and stared at Mykel's clone in front of her.

Amaryllis landed right behind Mykel who was in the Empyrean World with Hera and little Sasha. She looked at Mykel staring at his wrist, and then he slowly cut it off and let his blood come out. His blood was no longer red, his blood had turned blue and it dripped like water.

"You have become one of us," Hera said as she cut her wrist and showed her purple blood to Mykel. "But yours have become more pure than me. I have seen Gaia's blood, and her blood was as bright as the sky," Hera pointed out.

"I'm no longer a human, huh?" Mykel asked as he kept his blood coming out. "I wonder what will happen if someone drinks this blood of mine, do you think it will endanger them or bless them?" Mykel asked as he looked at Hera and Amaryllis.

"Well, this blood of mine and all the Greek Gods called it Ichor, the blood of the Gods. If our blood touched mortals, they will die because it's a poison that will kill them. Our power came from this blood, and if we lose our blood that means we lose our power," Hera explained as she looked at her blood that hadn't dripped on the ground because she held it in. "Even Gods can't be in touch with other's Ichor to avoid corruption in their pure blood," Hera added.

Mykel looked at Hera's wrist, and he suddenly grabbed it and sucked the blood from the wound. Hera was startled and let out a slight moan, and she looked at Mykel who sucked her blood like he was thirsty. She couldn't say no or push him away, so she could only watch him drink her blood.

"It smells really bad," Mykel said as he pulled his head away from Hera's wrist. "Did it try to harm my body?" Mykel asked Amaryllis.

"No, your body accepted it, but since her blood is dirtier than yours, it get purified instantly and became your blood," Amaryllis answered.

"Looks like the blood from Gods can save my life if something happened and you can't save me," Mykel pointed out as he looked at Amaryllis.

"I'll give you as much blood as you need. I'm ready to give all my blood for your life," Hera said as she gently stroked Mykel's hair. "But, I'm curious what would happen to me if I drink your blood?" Hera asked as she grabbed Mykel's wrist and looked at the blood.

Mykel used the tip of his index finger to grab the drip of blood from his arm, and then carefully offered it to Hera. Hera gulped and slowly sucked his finger and the moment she pulled her head back, she started to cough and she started to have a serious nosebleed. Her eyes and ears started to bleed, and she slowly fell to the ground as her skin became pale.

Amaryllis immediately took action and healed Hera as she observed what was happening inside her body. It didn't take long until Hera recovered after Amaryllis managed to get rid of Mykel's blood from Hera's body. Little Sasha was worried, but Mykel assured her that nothing would happen to Hera.

"This is really interesting. It's exactly as Hera said, that the Ichor of yours is like a poison and it tried to destroy her blood cells because it's inferior to yours. This is exactly what Elena experienced when she tried to take your life energy," Amaryllis explained as she looked at the drip of blood that she managed to retrieve. "But, I think I can try to modify this and make it something that can help Elena and the others to achieve the impossible which is to turn them into a real God like you," Amaryllis added as she looked at Mykel.

Mykel hummed and thought it would be a good idea to let Amaryllis do what she wanted to do, but then suddenly the sky was tearing apart. It shocked everyone and even Mykel was dumbfounded by what happened.

"What's going on? Did someone try to enter our world?" Mykel asked as he clenched his fists and prepared to fight.

"No, this isn't it," Amaryllis answered as she shook her head. "This isn't coming from outside, this is coming from something within. It's Elena who did it," Amaryllis pointed out as she looked at Mykel.

"Elena did this?" Mykel asked in disbelief.

"Looks like she got her new power," Amaryllis said as she chuckled in disbelief.
