From Human to Skeleton: Revived with Infinite System Crystals

Chapter 447 Wounded

"I don't think so!" Jalen roared.

He dropped the handle from his right hand, balling his fist as a red glow emitted from his knuckles. With a powerful swipe, a wave of pure red energy arched towards the Yami King, throwing him dozens of feet away. The impact shattered the Yami King's body into pieces, black liquid pooling around the remnants.

Elithira, struggling to pick herself up despite her injuries, shouted, "Get the necklace from his neck before he leaves!" She collapsed back to the ground, gripping her chest. Pain coursed through her, and she thought, Shit, I should be able to heal from this sooner.

Suddenly, Erebos slid in, revealing a dagger. He sliced toward Jalen's face, but Jalen dodged, swinging his chain in a wide arc to strike back. The chain whistled through the air, aiming for Erebos.

"Bold to attack me when you can't fight back!" Jalen taunted.

As the blade slid downward on Jalen's back, it clanged against an invisible force. Jalen glanced back to see King Griswald standing with his staff slammed into the ground, his eyes burning with determination.

"Erebos taught me about the crystals that govern my world," Griswald declared, his voice echoing with conviction. "Ridding this planet of the strongest creatures and harnessing fragments of these crystals will allow me to bring true peace!"

Erebos chuckled and stated, "A minor injury like this is nothing. And besides, you should have locked me out of movement." Suddenly, black liquid started to leak around him, forming dark, ominous pools at his feet.

Jalen's eyes widened in shock. "What the hell?! That's the mark of the Devil King! How—"

He was cut off as Erebos lunged forward, landing a powerful fist to Jalen's chest. The force sent Jalen sliding along the ground, his ribs aching from the impact. As he struggled to regain his footing, King Yami fully reconstructed himself from the black liquid, his body reforming with an eerie fluidity.

Jalen found himself encircled by Erebos and King Yami, beads of sweat dripping from his forehead. He could feel the oppressive weight of their combined dark energies pressing in on him. He tried to steady his breathing, his mind racing for a strategy.

"So tell me," Jalen said, his voice defiant despite the odds, "what was the plan if I didn't show up, huh? Just kill the Demon King's daughter and keep it moving? What's the real plan here?"

King Griswald's eyes narrowed, a flicker of uncertainty crossing his face. Jalen seized the moment.

"And you, my dear king of your kingdom, understand this: you've been lied to. Your mortal body is not strong enough to control all four crystals. You'll just end up killing yourself."

Griswald hesitated, the scepter in his hand pulsing with a dangerous energy. His gaze flicked to Erebos, who smirked, clearly enjoying the chaos. Enjoy new chapters from empire

"He's trying to deceive you," Erebos said smoothly. "Focus on the power you can wield, Griswald. With the crystals, we can bring true peace to this world."

Now let's finish this and be on our way, we have much more preparations to have before we can be finished with all of this!

Jalen cursed under his breath, "Shit, I was hoping I could waste more time than that."

King Griswald raised the Crystalline Scepter of Absorption high, his voice echoing with authority. "Crystal of power, I call on you to release the curses placed by the given weapon!"

A brilliant light shone from the scepter, bathing Erebos in its glow. In moments, the wound on Erebos's side healed, the flesh knitting together as if it had never been damaged. Jalen watched as King Griswald's face grew a little paler, the exertion clearly taking a toll on him.

With renewed vigor, Erebos lunged at Jalen, his eyes burning with malice. The Yami King and Griswald moved in sync, their dark energies converging as they launched a coordinated attack. Jalen found himself surrounded, his senses heightened as he prepared to fend them off.

Erebos's strikes were swift and relentless, each one aimed with deadly precision. Jalen parried and dodged, his chained sickle whirling through the air in a blur of motion. The Yami King's clapping his hands together shooting out black tendrils, trying to ensnare Jalen, while Griswald wielded the scepter with fierce determination, its energy blasts forcing Jalen to stay on the move.

Jalen dodged all the attacks that came flying at him, moving with a fluid grace that belied the intensity of the battle. Erebos launched a series of rapid strikes, his blade flashing in the dim light. Jalen twisted and spun, narrowly avoiding each lethal swing. The Yami King summoned shadowy tendrils, trying to ensnare him, but Jalen leaped high into the air, evading their grasp.

As he soared in the sky, Jalen's eyes locked onto King Griswald. He dived toward him with incredible speed. "Crystal disable, Power Drain, speed boost multiplier!" he shouted, his voice carrying a commanding force. The crystals around Griswald flickered and dimmed as Jalen's words took effect.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

Sliding through the chaos, Jalen caught a glimpse of Erebos stepping back, his branded hand shining red. Shit, I'm out of time here! he thought, urgency tightening his chest.

The Yami King lashed out with a massive shadow claw, but Jalen rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the deadly swipe. Griswald swung his scepter with a powerful arc, but Jalen ducked under the blow, his muscles coiled like a spring. With a swift movement, he performed a double cross attack along Griswald's chest, the blades slicing through fabric and flesh.

Blood sprayed in the air as Griswald staggered back, his grip on the scepter faltering.

Without hesitation, Jalen delivered a decisive blow, slicing Griswald's scepter in half. The crystal fragments fell to the ground, their glow extinguished. "That's one down," Jalen muttered, his eyes darting around the battlefield.

Suddenly, a hot pain erupted in his back as a coin, hurled by Erebos, pierced through his flesh. Jalen grunted, the force of the impact nearly knocking him off his feet. He spun around, his eyes meeting Erebos's cold, calculating gaze.

"You're not invincible," Erebos sneered,
