Since there were so many people stuffing money into the donation box every day during the National Day festival, making it necessary to empty it once a day, which was quite inconvenient, and one time it filled up in less than a day, Fang Ye planned to make some improvements in the donation aspect.

He thought of creating a program linked to the zoo's official WeChat account, allowing people to enter the zoo's donation page with a scan of a QR code—like the currently popular restaurant ordering systems—where they could choose from several fixed donation amounts or select their own.

The donation page would explain the purpose and significance of the donation, regularly update donors on the project's progress, and even generate electronic invoices.
