Chapter 108: Chapter 108: After the Initiation



[3rd POV]

As those words exited Gwen's mouth, the world around her slowed to a crawl, as the grim in front of her were...obliterated. Lines formed in between their top and bottom half's, as they slowly began to slide apart, being cut in half.

However, Gwen was not a fool, so, she paused time, and absorbed all the grimm in front of her, which was...a lot more than she thought, as there was a literal army of grimm. Every grimm within the emerald forest had all converged on that point, and she just killed all of them...in a single mighty blast of power.

As you'd expect, absorbing hundreds of grimm, gave Gwen a few hidden quest completions. Grimm Absorption [V]

And once again, she assimilated her new characters, all in a moment, as her senses expanded once more, and her spark increased in size and power even more than before. And in the next instant, time resumed, as the other students watched in awe as the grimm all disappeared, dead.

"Ho" "Ly" "shit" Ruby started, with Weiss continuing, and Yang finishing, as they all watched with wide eyes as Gwen killed an army of grimm with a single mighty blow.

Turning back to them, Gwen smiled and walked back to them. "So, was I cool or was I cool?" Gwen asked her girlfriends, who all struggled not to laugh, as Gwen just walked away from showing off like that, like it was absolutely nothing.

"That was so coooool!" Ruby squealed as she blurred to Gwen's side, her silver eyes practically sparkling as she looked at Gwen. She had never seen something like that before, nothing even remotely close.

"You were all like *Swoosh* and then all like "Dismantle" and then boom! All the grimm are gone! You didn't say you were so strong!" Ruby rapidly spoke, as Gwen just chuckled at her enthusiasm.

"Well, I'm glad someone liked it. Are the rest of you okay?" Gwen asked, turning to the rest of the group who were nodding. While Pyrrha, Blake, and Weiss were all still looking at her in awe, as they understood more than the others, the sort of power it to do something like that. It was...monstrous, and on a different scale compared to someone like Winter Schnee (Weiss's Sister) or someone else on that level.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Uh, yeah, yeah we're fine" Yang nodded, still looking shocked as she tried to shake off the sight that they all just watched. She had seen her uncle fight before, an uncle who was one of the best Huntsmen in the world, but this girl...she was something different.

While Blake was looking at her in awe, not knowing that there was a fellow faunus out there that was so powerful. Not to mention one that openly showed off her features with no care for what others thought of her. It was different than what she was used to, and Blake found herself interested in who this girl was.

"Good! Didn't want to accidentally injure you guys or anything" Gwen replied with a smile, before humming as she looked down at the relic in her hand, in the form of a Queen piece from chess. Except it was one shrouded in black and glowed softly, different from the other pieces. "So...how about we get this initiation over with? I'd like to get into some new clothes"

[Later, Beacon Assembly Hall]

Standing in the assembly hall, Gwen watched as groups walked up. First was team CRDL, also known as team Cardinal, ran by...a teen named Cardin. They were a bunch of racists who had given Gwen dirty looks the entire time she stood near them, something that the girls were not pleased with, struggling not to gut them.

The next was team JNPR, which was made up by Nora, Ren, Pyrrha, and Jaune Arc. The leader of the team was Jaune. A choice that got confusion from Jaune as he had...literally no combat experience, and a smile from Pyrrha.

The team after them was team RWBY, which was made up by Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang. The leader of the team was Ruby, which got some...negative reactions from Weiss, who believed she should be the leader.

However, it was the team after that Gwen played close attention to.

"Korra. Artemis Crock, Megan Morse, and Raven. The four of you received the golden king pieces. You shall be known as team...Karma, and shall be led by Korra" Ozpin said, as Gwen smiled, liking their team name which was "KRMA".

"And finally, we have a very special student. Normally, a single student cannot be admitted into this school, and if they didn't find a team, they wouldn't be allowed to enroll. However...this is a very special case" Ozpin said, before continuing.

"And so, for the first time in Beacon academy history, we will have a single person be a "team". Gwen Stacy, who's "team" will be known as...Queen"" Ozpin said, as Gwen walked out onto the stage, where Ozpin was standing. The man looked at her with a small smile, while inwardly he was more so interested in who this mystery girl was, and if she could help

defeat Salem.

Shaking the man's hand, she ignored the looks she was getting from the more racist students, and instead focused on the magic inside the man, or... the rather pitiful amounts of it. It was far weaker than she expected, and was far less potent than she had anticipated. 'He's weaker than I thought he would be. Guess the Brother Gods are going to be the only actual battles I'll be getting out of this world' Gwen thought in slight disappointment. Knowing that even the brother gods were probably going to be disappointing compared to what she was expecting of them.

She knew that most beings RWBY were weaker than her, but she had hoped that Ozpin would be a bit stronger, but it seems her hopes were for nothing. The brother God's were the only ones close to her, and with all the TL characters she was getting...it was likely even they

couldn't compare anymore.

With the team's chosen, they were all dismissed, and given their dorm rooms. And from what Gwen could tell, Ozpin had been able to notice their relationship, so, she was in the same room as the girls, thankfully. She planned on using some magic to increase the size of it, but

that was for later.

Looking to the girls, Gwen smiled slightly, before speaking.

"Well? Let's go see our new room!"

Basically just the teams getting chosen, and her getting her last tickets for a while. She won't

be getting more for a little while, or at least, she won't be using more for a little while. Her
