Chapter 186: Warlord Event Starts
Chapter 186: Warlord Event Starts
Aleron and Elysia entered her Goddess Palace in the sky of her secret realm.
Yuzu and others saw them coming, their eyes on Aleron as he entered the hall.
"Fifteen ladies, eh?" Aleron smiled as he looked at the ladies ranging from their twenties to thirties.
Yuzu and others looked nervous but also filled with anticipation for their future. They were finally going to get away from this shitty job.
"So, what are you going to do with them?" Elysia casually asked.
"Nothing," Aleron chuckled as he swept his eyes at them and asked, "So, ladies. What do you want to do? You are free to choose your future."
"I want to help you, young master Aleron," Yuzu spoke first as she stepped forward with a determined expression.
"You all stayed together for long and have experience of working together. For starters, I'm going to give you houses in my new city and two Death Lords who can heed your command," Aleron grinned. "I'm aware that you are from other worlds, so I want you to head the development of this city."
"We have no lack of resources, so you can become stronger at your own pace as well."
Yuzu and others had their eyes lighting up hearing that. It was finally time they moved to the next phase of their lives which showed them a much better and optimistic future.
...
Aleron settled Yuzu and others on a new island which he planned to make livable for all races together.
This island was one of the biggest as well, and he wanted to make it the central hub of this secret realm.
At the center of the island, Aleron cleared enough space for a beautiful pond and fifteen aesthetic wooden houses surrounding them for the ladies.
Yuzu and others stood before Aleron as he told them about his plans and gave them a sophisticated design program he created, which contained a myriad of possible structures, designs, and infrastructure ideas for the city.
"Death Lords won't be able to make all things, so when that happens, just call Alfred and he will finish the task in seconds," Aleron said as he handed them the gloves.
"The hologram and design user interface I showed can be activated with these gloves and that portal can lead to the necropolis, which is a fully functional city with much to do and enjoy there, but know that folks there are former humans but present Undead races."
"Thank you, young master Ale," Yuzu excitedly smiled.
"We will build a wonderful city with the tools you have provided."
"This location is also superb. Now I am finally living a life in another world, haha."
"True, that shitty goddess didn't let us go anywhere outside of her palace and had to work all the time. Eat, shit, and work, gosh. I swear I was going to kill myself soon if not for young master Ale."
"Cough, young master Aleron, I can also become your personal maid. I know how to cook and dress up someone," Yuzu said with a cheeky grin. "I was a designer and then became CEO of a beautician company in my previous life."
Aleron lightly laughed and said, "That's good to know. I want someone with a knack for designing outfits. Alright, make some outfit designs for me when you get time."
"Leave that to me," Yuzu patted her chest with a big smile.
...
(Subordinates-only) Cracks of Wild Labyrinth - 1 hour until it starts.
"Alright, everyone. There's only an hour left until the event, and we have its details."
On a terrace high up, Aleron sat on his Arcana Throne while a mystical portal had formed behind him, with [0/5] floating wispily above it.
"The portal behind me is the entrance to the Event and these are the details," Aleron waved his hand as a magical hologram appeared before Aleron, facing his subordinates for them to read the details.
Not all of his subordinates had broken through to Ascension rank. For now, the ones who stood before Aleron were Enorin, Yueha, Nerathi, Arran'tel, Fang, Ruan, and Riki.
Riki didn't comprehend his first concept through his Symbios Gear's traits, but he comprehended the Sword concept, which synergized with his specialty tremendously. Moreover, Riki and Ruan also managed to awaken their Vigor source and open the Vitalum Gate a few hours ago.
Fang fell short as he didn't have time, but Enorin, Yueha, Nerathi, and Arran'tel had successfully awakened their Vigor source and opened their first Gate ten hours ago.
However, looking at the event details, it seemed that only five of them could participate.
[Cracks of Wild Labyrinth]
\__Event-type: Subordinates-only.
\_Participant Pool: Rank 200th to rank 284th Warlords.
\_Participant number: 5.
Event Rules_
1. Each group will spawn randomly in the Wild Labyrinth's peripheral area.
2. The goal of each group is to reach the center of the Labyrinth through traps and troubles, with clashes against other groups as they near the center.
3. Warlord points and Ability points will be distributed according to the order in which they reach the center. The first ten groups will be awarded Treasure Chests, with the rank first gaining 10 treasure chests and the rank tenth group gaining 1 chest.
"I am not going to choose who is going to participate," Aleron smiled as he crossed his arms.
"It's up to you all."
The folks looked at each other with wry smiles.
"I'm out," Fang said as he shook his head and stepped backward. "I am weakest among thisn/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
group right now."
"That's not necessarily true," Riki laughed. "Your formations can be very handy in the labyrinth, I feel."
The others who had seen Fang's combat ability couldn't help but agree.
"So, who is going to go? I want us to take the first rank for master. Anything less is not acceptable," Yueha crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes.
"There's one way to get ourselves a good group," Arran'tel suggested with a faint smile. "Let us fight to in a battle royal and hurl everything at each other. That is the best way to finalize a
group of five among us."
Arran'tel's suggestion was accepted by all and they began fighting each other in the sky, using purely their skills and expertise, but not going all out.
Half an hour later, everyone stopped and discussed before finalizing the group.
Fang the Chaotic Array Master.
Enorin the Angel of Divine Sunderer.
Arran'te the Dethpless Gloom.
Riki the Deadly Blade.
And finally...
Yueha the Varglas Empress.
The five of them entered the portal and arrived at the avenue of the Event with twenty minutes left before it started.
This new world seemed to consist of mountain peaks with clouds covering the rest of the world below the peak. Each peak seemed to hold a group of subordinates of each Warlord between 200th to 284th rank.
Enorin and others immediately sat cross-legged to recover their Prana, soul energy, and Vigor
force they spent.
'I have twenty minutes. That's enough to make a single attempt,' Fang thought as he looked
at the countdown.
'If I fail, I'll be weakened for a bit but that shouldn't be a problem for long,' Fang's eyes turned firm. 'I must do this and succeed. I don't want to consider the option of failure.'
'Do it, Fang!'
...
"Master, I want to return to check up on my Monster Paradise guild if you don't mind,"
Nerathi said.
"Hmm, how about you bring all the people under you to my secret realm?" Aleron
thoughtfully said. "I'll make a Beastfolk Island as well since I have Elven Island, Draconite
Island, and Demon Island."
"Really?" Nerathi's eyes light up. "The atmosphere of this secret realm is stronger and better,
so I'm sure my people will be happy here. And don't worry master, we'll work hard for the
resources."
"Humu, let's bring them over," Aleron nodded before he turned to Ruan who was looking at him intently.
"What do you want to do, cutie?" Aleron chuckled.
Ruan shyly yet mischievously smiled and said, "If you ask me like that, then of course I want
to be with you, Master. But since you are going to watch the Event, then I'll obediently train
and wait for my chance."
"You can come with me if you want to," Aleron grinned. "I can bring over your avatar with mine to watch the event."
"Ohhh, then, of course, I want to watch! Thank you, master."
"Alright, then wait here. Once the event starts, we'll go. Meanwhile, Nerathi," Aleron looked
at Nerathi, "We'll go now and bring over your territory's population here before the event
starts. I'll leave their settlement to you."
...
After Aleron brought around two million Beastfolks into his secret realm and put them on a new island in the surroundings. Nerathi tended to them and organized her people. Aleron also created a portal there as he created in other islands so that Exceed-rank and higher could explore the new secret realms he had summoned for resources and competition. Nerathi also explained to them about the upcoming tournament, so everyone was raring to train now that they could gain resources by exploring and fighting in new areas. Meanwhile, Aleron and Ruan sat cross-legged beside each other before their avatar emerged
from their bodies.
'Leave your Avatar's movement to me. This unique portal that the cosmos will create only
allows avatars to pass through. It's an amazing use of soul path and Arcane path, and I learned
it as well, haha.'
'Master, you can really learn everything so fast, it's amazing.'
'You know how to butter up, eh?'
'Hehe, I just adore you so much, Master. Please let me stay by your side forever,' Ruan
cheekily said.
'As if you are going anywhere,' Aleron laughed. 'I am keeping for you for myself.'
'That's good to know, my dear master~'
At that, Aleron and Ruan's avatars entered the mystical portal and arrived in a huge hall with
tables, with Warlords ranging from all ranks already present or arriving.
